Richard graduated with a cum laude predicate in Constitutional Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and Litigation Law at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH).
He has passed the Bar/Advocate Profession Exam, currently working as a legal and policy analyst. Prior to becoming the Executive Director of WAIN, Richard worked as a legal advisor for several Indonesian Ministries in an international consulting firm specializing in economics and government. He was also a political consultant to local political candidates and involved in policy drafting for several regions. Richard was the President of the Faculty of Law Student Senate in both UPH and UGM.
